Packing & moving
One crew, three ways to use it. Every service below is the same question answered differently: how much of the packing do you want to own?
The three services
- Full packing service. We arrive with cartons, paper, wrap and tape, and pack the house room by room, usually the day before moving day. You make the keep-or-toss calls; we do everything else. What a full pack actually includes.
- Partial packing service. We pack the kitchen, the glassware, the art and anything you'd wince to see in a box packed badly; you handle books, linen and clothes at your own pace. Most families land here. How to split the job well.
- Self-pack moving. You pack, we bring the truck and the muscle. The cheapest way through a move, and the one where good technique matters most: the packing guide and the materials list are written for exactly this.
- Unpacking. The end most people forget to plan: cartons emptied, contents on shelves, packaging gone. What unpacking covers.
- Local and interstate. Local moves usually run in a day; interstate depends on destination and volume, and we'll give you the honest window rather than the optimistic one.
What it costs
Hourly, by crew size, one public set of rates: $250 for 2 movers and a truck, $350 for 3 movers and a truck, $500 for 4 movers and 2 trucks. The packing spectrum decides the hours as much as the house size does, which is why the quote form asks about both.
